Job summary

The Global Ambassador Hotel in Phoenix is seeking a banquet leadership professional to oversee banquet services across the property. You will collaborate with our events team and clients to deliver memorable events, manage shifts, read weekly banquet orders, and maintain product quality and space cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of leadership in luxury hotel banquets, are highly organized multitaskers, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years previous leadership experience in luxury hotel banquets
• An open, curious mind with a desire to deliver a tailored guest experience with a hospitality every time mindset
• Highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee banquet services throughout the hotel
• Regularly communicates and collaborates with our internal Events team and clients to execute unique and memorable events
• Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in the industry
• Professional, yet comfortable with candid & open to and acting upon feedback – all with the guest and employee experience top of mind
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
• Able to read and comprehend weekly Banquet Events Orders
• Ensure product quality and event space cleanliness
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
• Coach, lead and develop team
