Responsibilities

• Lead banquet setup, service and breakdown to execute events per BEOs and standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach and develop banquet team members; manage labor and productivity.
• Coordinate with Catering Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering and other hotel departments for seamless execution.
• Maintain banquet equipment and inventory; ensure proper room setups and safety/alcohol service standards.

The Banquet Manager is responsible for leading the daily operation and execution of banquet events while ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and memorable guest experiences consistent with the standards of a luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property.

This hands‑on leader will oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring events are executed accurately according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), client expectations, and hotel service standards. The Banquet Manager will lead pre‑shift meetings, assign responsibilities, monitor service, and remain highly visible throughout events to support the team and address guest or client needs.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and developing banquet team members, managing labor and productivity, maintaining banquet equipment and inventory, ensuring proper room setups, and supporting food, beverage, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.

The Banquet Manager will work closely with Catering Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and flawless event execution.

The ideal candidate has previous banquet leadership experience within a full‑service, upscale, or luxury hotel, along with strong knowledge of banquet operations, service standards, BEOs, staffing, labor management, and event execution. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Previous Hilton experience, particularly within a Curio Collection or luxury/soft‑brand property, is highly preferred.

Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event and business needs, is required.
