Job description

The Fairway Inn & Suites, formerly known as Par 5 Resort, is now under new owners and new management, and we are excited to add new team members to the resort! This property offers guests breathtaking views, picturesque fairways, and a unique location in Mishicot, WI, just 35 minutes from Green Bay.

Join our Banquet Service Team!

We are looking for a Banquet Line Cook with prior cooking experience, preferably in an event or fine dining setting. Ideal candidates will provide exceptional service and plate presentation, work independently, and demonstrate problem-solving skills while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. The position offers flexible scheduling between 6am and 11pm, with availability for weekends and holidays depending on event schedules.

Responsibilities include adhering to banquet/event menus, following food health and safety procedures, and working closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or meet minimum age requirements for kitchen work per local laws.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Professional, approachable attitude.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients using proper techniques and utensils.
  • Ensure proper plate presentation and meet guest expectations.
  • Follow food safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a sanitized, organized kitchen environment.
  • Check ingredient quality, restock, and replenish as needed.
  • Coordinate with the banquet team, including the Banquet Manager, Sales Manager, Head Chef, and General Manager.
  • Follow the directives of the Banquet Chef and Head Chef for daily priorities.
  • Adhere to recipe cards, production schedules, and plating guides.
  • Work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Show passion for cooking and a commitment to continuous learning.

This role is subject to a background check.
