ASM Global-SMG is seeking a dedicated Cook I in Albuquerque. This entry-level part-time role involves preparing and cooking various foods, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, and following recipes as directed.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or G.E.D., at least six months of experience in a commercial kitchen, and knowledge of basic cooking techniques. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least six months of previous experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen or equivalent.
• Serve Safe certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare menu items for each banquet event order.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
• Assist with food preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and prepping sauces.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Be creative in designing buffet food presentations.
• Label and store food properly to ensure freshness.
• Follow directions from supervisors and chefs.
• Prepare recipes as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
