Ithaka Hospitality Partners is hiring a Chef de Partie for the Banquet Kitchen at Elevation Convening Center & Hotel in Montgomery, AL. You will support the Banquet Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality cuisine for banquets, receptions, and cafe operations while guiding culinary staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or similar in banquet/high-volume kitchens.
• Experience supervising culinary staff and guiding team performance.
• Strong knowledge of hot and cold food preparation, garde manger, baking and pastry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food presentation quality.
• Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and present dishes per banquet kitchen standards.
• Supervise cooks and culinary staff, ensuring recipes and plating consistency.
• Coordinate with Banquet Chef to handle large events and cafe needs.
• Assist in inventory management and minimize food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace.
• Support training and development of kitchen staff and act as lead in the Banquet Chef's absence.
