Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix is seeking a Banquet Junior Sous Chef to assist in training and coordinating kitchen staff and to actively participate in preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring a high-quality culinary experience.

You will work under senior chefs to maintain menu knowledge, food safety standards, and cost controls while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; culinary education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a culinary department in a hotel, restaurant or club.
• Maricopa County Food Handler Card.

Responsibilities

• Train and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure quality.
• Prepare and QC soups, stocks, sauces, and dishes.
• Maintain menus and recipes; ensure accurate food preparation and handling.
• Monitor inventory and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Assist in controlling food costs and completing prep lists.
