Job summary

White Lodging in Austin seeks a Banquet Houseperson to ensure flawless setup, service, and teardown of events at Hotel Trinity, the city's premier Marriott Autograph Collection property. You will keep the function rooms and storage areas clean and organized, practice safe handling of banquet equipment, and assist with transporting tables and chairs.

The role requires a team mindset, impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds;

• Set up, service, and tear down of all banquet events.

• Assist in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, and chairs.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• A banquet houseperson is responsible for the successful set-up, service, and tear down of all banquet events.
• Keep the function room area and storage areas clean and always organized.
• Practice the safe handling care and storage of all banquet equipment.
• Assist in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, and chairs to the banquet hall and follow instructions on how to place them.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness always.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
