The ideal candidate is physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, works well in a team, and is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Committed to safety and sanitation, you will help maintain high standards across all banquet areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet setup or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per event specifications, arranging tables, chairs, linens and equipment.
• Support banquet servers during events by replenishing supplies, clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness.
• Break down banquet rooms after events, remove linens, stack chairs/tables and clean the area.
• Store and maintain banquet equipment and supplies properly.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
• Assist with moving and transporting banquet materials as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Banquet Houseman to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Banquet Houseman plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of banquet events by assisting with setup, breakdown, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet areas. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves physical work in banquet and event spaces, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. The Banquet Houseman will work indoors and occasionally outdoors, depending on event locations.
