Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Banquet House Person to set up, maintain, and break down banquet and event spaces across meetings, conferences, and weddings. You’ll work in a fast-paced hospitality environment as part of a collaborative team, ensuring accurate room setups and high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet or event setup preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with focus on room setup accuracy and cleanliness.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night event support.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, conference areas, buffets, stages, dance floors, and event equipment per BEOs.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, AV equipment, and event setups for various events.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across banquet spaces and storage areas.
• Assist with room resets and event transitions during banquet service periods.
• Support banquet operations by replenishing supplies and assisting servers and leadership teams.
• Operate banquet equipment safely and follow hotel safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory organization, storage management, and transportation of equipment.
• Collaborate with Banquets, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, and Operations teams for smooth execution.
