Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a server for banquet and event service on-site at our properties. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences during events, with duties from setup to breakdown, and meeting service standards and safety guidelines.

Candidates should have prior banquet or convention service experience, strong guest relations skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet or convention services experience at a comparable property.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to serve guests through verbal face-to-face interactions.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends and maintain a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers at assigned station quickly, courteously, and efficiently.
• Obtains food and beverage from prescribed locations and serves customers according to procedures.
• Keeps glasses filled and notes guest requests for additional items.
• Cleans tables and side-work before, during, and after shifts.
• Sets dining tables to established standards and handles table setup for events.
• Assists with event setup/breakdown and maintains a safe, clean dining environment.
