Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong knowledge of service standards and guest expectations.
• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Experience supervising staff in a banquet setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise assigned group business after it is booked.
• Market ideas to promote business and drive revenue.
• Oversee daily operation of the banquet department and supervise hourly staff.
• Prepare and review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and necessary reports.
• Communicate with Sales Managers and Meeting Planners to ensure smooth transitions.
