Job summary

The Atlas Hotel in Boston, operated by Highgate Hotels, seeks an Associate Director of Sales to support the Director of Sales & Marketing in directing and supervising the Sales Managers, Event Manager(s), and Sales Coordinators in all sales activities. The role includes direct sales efforts, follow-up, and sales administration.

You will develop market knowledge, assist with ensuring policy adherence, and help drive revenue through proactive strategies and strong client engagement.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive hotel sales experience, or a four-year college degree with three+ years in hotel sales.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
• Ability to work long hours and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and administer all activities of the Sales Department.
• Develop working knowledge of hotel operations (Front Office, Guest Experience, Reservations, F&B).
• Adhere to sales policies and SOPs and ensure the Sales team complies.
• Develop market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Coordinate group and transient bookings to maximize profits.
• Maintain active sales solicitation and participate in weekly staff meetings.
