Job summary

Wind River Hotel and Casino in Riverton, WY seeks a Banquet Coordinator to oversee staffing, scheduling, and client liaison for conferences and banquets. You will arrange room blocks, coordinate catering with the kitchen, and ensure contracts and invoices are managed efficiently.

This role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a guest-focused approach. Native American preference applies, and candidates must meet licensing and drug-screen requirements as per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ at time of hire.
• Ability to analyze basic data.
• Proven knowledge of casino operations and promotions.
• Available nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, trustworthy and a team player.
• Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have a Wyoming driver's license and be able to obtain required licenses.
• Native American preference applies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet employees and ensure adherence to policies.
• Observe and evaluate performance; coach when needed.
• Schedule conference spaces, room blocks, and intake forms.
• Coordinate with Banquet Cook and Executive Chef on orders.
• Create sales opportunities during client liaisons and events.
• Determine staffing levels for events and approve time and tips.
• Handle contracts, invoices, and payments; respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate off-site tribal/casino events and staff meetings.
• Ensure entertainment meets licensing requirements.
