Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking a part-time Banquet Houseperson to support the Banquet Manager in preparing spaces for events and ensuring a positive guest experience. The role requires physical activity, setting up and breaking down meeting rooms, and maintaining clean, presentable spaces throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include arranging tables, chairs, and equipment per plan, restocking water and glassware, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure smooth function

Formación

• Knowledge of various meeting room equipment and setup.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team and guests.

Responsabilidades

• Set up meeting rooms per guest specifications, including transport of staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after functions and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
