Job summary

The Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a capable Banquet Set-Up Associate to support our events team at our Owings Mills property. You will set up meeting rooms per guest specifications, transport tables, chairs, and equipment, and maintain room readiness.

This role requires physical activity, teamwork, reliable attendance, and a customer-service approach to ensure guest satisfaction throughout events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting and able to work without constant supervision.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to lift/move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) and set up various table types.
• Team player and willing to assist coworkers as needed.
• Prior knowledge of meeting room setups is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications and transport tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with glasses and water.
• Break down and reset rooms for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule so rooms remain presentable.
• Attend work regularly and comply with attendance rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
