Job summary

612North Event Space + Catering is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee all banquet service operations and ensure seamless event execution in St. Louis.

You will manage staff, coordinate with Sales and Culinary teams, and uphold high standards of guest satisfaction. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in Banquets or Conference Services, a preference for a Hospitality degree, and CPR/First Aid or TIPS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related business field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• CPR & First Aid Certification preferred.
• TIPS Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee banquet service operations and ensure seamless event execution.
• Keep events on schedule; coordinate with staff and communicate changes.
• Attend weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings.
• Review BEOs to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Set up and confirm all A/V equipment as specified in the contract.
• Supervise banquet service staff and ensure performance standards are met.
• Partner with Catering/Sales, F&B Managers, and Culinary team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage quality and cost control for banquet services.
• Act as liaison between guests and venue staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain banquet equipment and facilities in good condition.
• Address guest issues and escalate to Director of Events & Catering.
• Perform inventories and order supplies; complete admin duties.
