Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, part of Evans Hotels LLC, is hiring a Banquet Cook II to prepare banquet menu items with careful attention to ingredients, technique and presentation. You will work under the chef to ensure high-quality events and guest experiences at a premier San Diego resort.

weekend and holiday availability is required; you will contribute to a collaborative culinary team and pursue opportunities for professional growth within our hospitality group.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Prior hotel banquet or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares mise en place for banquet functions from production lists posted by the chef.
• Maintains organization of all prepared items according to BEOs.
• Participates in banquet events, ensuring proper cooking techniques, flavors and presentations.
• Assists associates in other areas to foster teamwork and camaraderie.
• Upholds safety standards and maintains cleanliness per health and hotel standards.
