Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines is seeking an experienced Line Cook II to work the night shift in our resort kitchen. You will prepare all menu items in your station with care, uphold high standards for ingredients, technique and teamwork, and model professionalism for the team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in hotel or resort food service.
• Must obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality and timely service for guests.
• Mise en place maintained for highest standard of cookery.
• Assist other cooks and foster teamwork.
• Prepare and present menu items in assigned station.
• Maintain cleanliness per Health Department and hotel standards.
• Prepare entrees according to recipes and techniques.
• Maintain professionalism and appearance at all times.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Attend shifts consistently as scheduled.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
• Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
