The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Cook 2 to join our culinary team. You will prepare a variety of dishes, ensure top quality, follow recipes, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Join a active culinary team, work under a Sous Chef/Executive Chef, and contribute to high standards in food preparation and service. This is a kitchen-focused role with opportunities for catering support and event cooking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Food Handler's Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure that all food is of the highest quality and meets standards.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy.
