Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. Arlington is seeking a Banquet Cook I to prepare and present high-quality banquet meals for weddings, conferences, and events. You will work with the Banquet Chef and kitchen team to execute menus and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires knife skills, ability to handle multiple stations, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment. Weekend and holiday availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with banquet-style service and large-volume cooking.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present banquet menu items per recipes and portions.
• Set up and stock workstations for banquet service.
• Coordinate food prep with event timelines for timely meals.
• Collaborate with banquet team to meet dietary and event needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and prep areas.
• Assist with buffet setup, plating, and live stations as needed.
• Follow hotel brand standards for quality and sanitation.
• Train and mentor junior cooks as assigned.
• Adapt to changes and handle fast-paced event environments.
• Attend mandatory trainings and adhere to schedules.
