Job summary

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks passionate cooks for our high-volume kitchen. You will prepare menu items to established culinary standards, deliver high-quality dishes, and uphold sanitation and guest service.

Shifts include mornings (6am-2pm) and nights; weekend/holiday availability is required. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year in a full-service kitchen, understand food safety, and can lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of high-volume kitchen experience.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Active food handler's certification or ability to obtain one.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Preparing menu items in accordance with the hotel’s culinary standards and recipes.
• Delivering high-quality dishes while upholding guest service and consistency.
• Upholding daily sanitation and safety practices as outlined in the hotel’s standards.
