Responsibilities include station setup, food preparation, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations. Prior experience in fine dining or resort settings is preferred, with fluency in English and basic math abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• 1-2 years restaurant experience
• High school education or GED
• Two years experience in a fine dining restaurant or resort
• Basic math functions
• Culinary school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up work station and prepare mise en place.
• Prepare meat, fish, poultry and other items.
• Cook food orders immediately as they arrive and read tickets carefully.
• Operate stoves, grills, fryers, broilers and other utensils.
• Keep stations clean during preparation and service.
• Follow health department regulations and rotate and store food properly.
• Inform Chef of any abnormalities in food quality.
• Complete opening and closing duties and prepare employee meals.
