Job summary

Fitler Club in Philadelphia is seeking a Banquet Cook to work with the event team, prepping for weddings, meetings, and dinners as one of the city’s premier catering companies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, knowledge of banquet operations, and an interest in current food and beverage trends.

Weekend, night, and holiday shifts are required, and you will contribute to maintaining high standards across food safety, presentation, and service in a fast-paced club

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in kitchens.
• Good knife work is a must.
• Excellent sanitation and work ethic are a must.
• Must be able to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift and lift 50 lbs.
• Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
• Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands.
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in mass production, according to the Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and ordinances as well as the department and Fitler Club policies
• Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
• Follows grooming and uniform standards established for this role
• Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
• Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment
• Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors
