Job summary

Fitler Club LLC in Philadelphia is seeking a Banquet Cook to work with the event team preparing for weddings, meetings, and dinners, as one of the top catering partners in the city.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in kitchens, strong knife skills, and a commitment to sanitation. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed by business demands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in kitchens.
• Good knife work is a must.
• Excellent sanitation and work ethic are a must.
• Must be able to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift and lift 50 lbs.
• Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
• Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in mass production, according to laws and club policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information.
• Follows grooming and uniform standards established for this role.
• Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with management and co-workers.
• Ensure member and associates areas are safe and secure.
• Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors.

Overview

The Banquet Cook will work with the event team to prep for weddings, meetings, and dinners as we are one of the premier catering companies in Philadelphia. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of banquet operations, and an interest in following and adapting to current food and beverage trends.

• Prepare food items in mass production, according to the Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and ordinances as well as the department and Fitler Club policies
• Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
• Follows grooming and uniform standards established for this role
• Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
• Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment
• Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors
