Job summary

Invited in Texas is seeking a Banquet Chef to lead culinary operations for private and member events. You will develop menus, prepare and present dishes, and supervise banquet kitchen staff to meet the highest standards of quality, service, and safety.

You will partner with the Executive Chef to forecast event needs, manage food and labor costs within budget, and ensure consistent guest experiences. The role requires creativity, organization, and strong leadership in a dynamic club setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef.
• Valid Health & Sanitation certification.
• Food service management certification required by state law.
• College degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cost and labor controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead menu creation and execution for private events.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to ensure meal production meets event needs.
• Manage budgets for food and labor in line with guidelines.
• Oversee procurement of food supplies and inventory.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Interview, hire, and train kitchen staff; develop employees.
• Plan and adjust work schedules for team members; ensure coverage.
