Job summary

Redd Hospitality in San Francisco seeks a Banquet & Catering Sales Manager for a historic boutique hotel. The role focuses on prospecting, selling, and detailing standalone catering and meeting events to generate new revenue.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients from initial contact to final sign-off, planning menus, AV, and producing BEOs, then handing off to Conference Services with proper turnover. OT-eligible with a 45-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet and catering sales for lifestyle/boutique/luxury hotels.
• Proven prospecting and selling experience.
• Working knowledge of industry software (Delphi, Opera, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Prospect, sell and detail standalone catering and meeting events to build new revenue.
• Handle group banquet programs from Sales: contact clients, plan menus, setup and AV, and detail BEOs through final client sign-off.
• Hand off events to the Conference Services Manager with a documented turnover and review final reconciled checks.

Seeking a Banquet & Catering Sales manager for an historic boutique hotel.

Qualifications

• Direct lifestyle hotel banquet and catering experience, ideally 3+ years in independent, boutique or luxury hotels
• Proven prospecting and selling experience (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Delphi, Opera and the Microsoft Office Suite
