Job summary

Watermark BR is seeking a Full-Time Banquet Captain in Baton Rouge, LA. This role supervises and assists in serving food and beverages at banquet functions, ensuring adherence to hotel standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Banquet Captain supervises and assists in serving food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions per hotel standards.
• Must respond to guest needs promptly and communicate issues to the F&B Manager or Director.
• Able to assist in creating banquet work schedules and wage progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect banquet setup against Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Act as liaison between Sales/Catering Manager and in-house meeting or banquet contact.
• Serve guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Prepare room according to BEO and meal functions.
• Follow money handling procedures when serving guests.
• Set tables according to hotel standards.
