The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is hiring full-time Banquet Captains in Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn within the campus Hospitality department. Banquet Captains oversee the delivery of food and beverage service, ensuring events run smoothly from setup to breakdown.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays.
• Capable of managing people and time effectively.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the smooth execution of food and beverage service throughout the event.
• Spend time in the office reviewing upcoming assigned events and BEOs.
• Coordinate with the event specialist to seek clarification and guidance as needed.
• Ensure the event space is clean and set up is executed flawlessly.
• Maintain constant communication with the client to meet and exceed expectations with top service.
