Job summary

Infor is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee all functions scheduled in meeting rooms and special events at our Temecula location. You will supervise multiple functions, manage setup timelines, and serve as acting manager in the Banquet Manager's absence.

The role requires 4–6 years of high-volume banquet or F&B experience, strong communication, and solid computer skills to use OPERA, Micros, and related systems.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of high-volume banquet or equivalent F&B experience.

Responsibilities

• Runs and assumes responsibilities for multiple functions occurring simultaneously.
• Inputs all checks and consumptions into the OPERA system.
• Communicates setup timelines with departments.
• Trains and mentors Banquet Servers and team members.
• Orders and maintains par levels of food and beverage not handled by kitchens.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of coffee rooms and storage rooms.
• Interacts with guests to ensure expectations are met.
• Completes team member evaluations.
• Assesses staffing needs for events as shifts begin.
• Acts as manager when the Banquet Manager is away.
