Banquet Captain - Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame (Finance)

The beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame, boasting 10,000 square feet of banquet space and located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons directly across from the University of Notre Dame, is looking to add a Banquet Captain to our team.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have a true passion for hospitality and a heart for service, be detail-oriented, and have experience with Banquet Operations. A flexible schedule is required for this role.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality
• Assisting with the planning, organizing, and execution of all banquet functions, including but not limited to breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas
• Greeting and welcoming client representatives and guests, responding to requests promptly and courteously
• Participating in and leading department meetings
• Processing banquet checks accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations
