ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Accurately and quickly take and place all food orders with the kitchen.
  • Answer questions about cooking methods, menu items, specials, and prices.
  • Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and deliver all beverage orders.
  • Prepare guest checks accurately and present them before departure.
  • Handle all cash and room charge procedures according to policies.
  • Take and deliver room service orders to guests.
  • Maintain communication with bartenders and restaurant managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure quality experience and future sales; report issues to shift supervisor.
  • Assist in seating and greeting guests when necessary.
  • Assist in cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables.
  • Clean and restock service items.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with guests in person and over the phone.
  • One year of employment in a related field preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to move quickly and stay organized.
  • Food Handler and TIPS certification.
  • Availability to work weekends and/or holidays; scheduled days and times vary based on need.
