Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 6 months to one year of related experience in a banquet and conference facility.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise duties of banquet servers, bartenders, and house personnel.
• Ensure effective communication and staff appraisal.
• Enforce policies and provide training opportunities.
• Act as department head in manager's absence.
• Resolve service complaints to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Ensure banquet spaces are clean and organized.
• Utilize POS and inventory programs for billing.
• Assist in recruitment and training of new staff.
• Comply with Health Code guidelines.
• Coordinate activities for efficient service delivery.
