The Legendary Galt House Hotel is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to oversee and supervise the banquet servers during events. This role ensures the function space is visually appealing, presents menu offerings, and maintains overall sanitation and equipment readiness.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced catering environment.

Formación

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• High school or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Good computer skills including Word and Excel.
• 2+ years of convention hotel experience or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Meet and greet clients.
• Oversee in house catered functions.
• Responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event.
• Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms and storage areas.
• Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture and fixtures in the Banquet and Catering Section in the shift assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met.
• Supervise events and team members throughout service.
• Guide the Banquet Servers in set up of tables and place settings.
• Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
• Responsible for ensuring sufficient operating guest supplies, beverage supplies and operating equipment for functions assigned.
• Other duties as assigned
