Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod in Hyannis is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead all banquet operations and ensure guest satisfaction during events. You will manage setup, service, and teardown, while guiding a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver outstanding hospitality.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of banquet servers, bartenders, and support staff to ensure smooth operation and excellent service delivery.
• Collaborate with the event planning team to understand client requirements and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized banquet area.
• Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Conduct pre-event meetings with the team to communicate event details, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Continuously evaluate and improve banquet processes to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
