Position Overview

Lead the Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for accuracy and coordinate with staff to ensure proper setup.
• Ensure all public areas are neat and set up according to BEO instructions.
• Communicate with group representatives and relay any changes or requirements.
• Coordinate with banquet staff on setup, changes, and timing for functions.
• Operate as a banquet server: set up, greet, serve, and break down functions.
• Inspect banquet areas post-event for cleanliness and equipment return.
• Recap and submit banquet checks to the Night Audit.
• Know menu details and be able to explain ingredients and preparation.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred hotel experience.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with management, staff, and guests.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality law.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication, adaptable to different audiences.
