Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to prepare drinks and food items, serve guests, and coordinate lounge/bar activities. You will verify ages, take orders, and handle payments while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining bar cleanlines, inventory, and creating drink displays. Strong English communication and basic math are essential, with alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Experience in hospitality or food/beverage service is preferred.
• Ability to handle cash, process payments and balance receipts.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol service.
• Present menus and take orders for food and drinks.
• Prepare drinks including wine, liquor and beer.
• Prepare appetizers and food items per recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of bars, kitchen and lounge areas.
• Balance sales receipts and manage payments.
• Monitor guest service to avoid over-service and uphold safety.
• Keep logs (temp, waste) and ensure inventory control.
• Arrange bottles and glassware to create appealing displays.
• Create drink recipes and manage supplies as needed.
• Coordinate lounge/bar operations and activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
