Responsibilities

• Read BEO and complete a set-up for events.
• Set tables in assigned area accurately and uniformly.
• Make and serve drinks following established beverage procedures and safety policies.
• Greet guests and provide courteous service per hotel guidelines.
• Assist bartenders and banquet captains with setup and breakdown of buffets and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and proper money handling for orders.

Essential Duties

• Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up.
• Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly.
• Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures.
• Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
• Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray breakdown of buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.
• Assist Banquet Captain in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.
• Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.
• Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving a-la-carte and beverage orders.
• Complete assigned side work.
• Hours: Flexible; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a banquet server/bartender required
