Jazzboline Restaurant & Bar is forming a team of creative individuals who are driven and committed to their craft.

A Fine Dining Bartender responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and cleanup of bar area while delivering the highest quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining company standards to maximize profits.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service, and cleanup of the bar area.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and uphold company standards and profit maximization.
• Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures, and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
• Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.
• Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in accordance with company policies.
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Know and comply with state liquor laws and ensure established pars are maintained.
• Perform all side‑work duties according to side‑work schedules.

Requirements

• Provide assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department.
• Have basic knowledge of customer service principles, the food server function, and restaurant and kitchen operations.
• Know standard cash‑handling procedures.
• Be fluent in oral and written English.

Abilities

• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Be highly organized and pay attention to detail in crowded and noisy situations.
• Use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and emotional situations.
• Lift and carry cases of liquor, soda, ice, and glasses.
• Bend and kneel to stock supplies and glassware.
• Reach and pour bottles, pull glasses, and stand continuously behind the bar to serve guests.
• No climbing or driving is required.
• Have excellent hearing to hear guests and servers, drink orders, and questions.
• Have excellent vision to handle cash, credit cards, IDs, and identify proper supplies and drink items.
• Have good speech skills to communicate with guests and servers.
• Have good comprehension and literacy to handle cash, credit cards, input into the computer, and identify proper supplies.
• Chemicals/agents used include cleaning and sanitizing solutions for glassware and bar cleaning.
