Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Banquet Bartender to deliver beverage service at weddings, meetings, and events across our properties. You’ll set up, mix cocktails, and create a welcoming, upbeat guest experience that guests remember long after the event ends.

Ideal candidates have hospitality passion, strong guest service, and knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer. Flexibility for evenings and weekends, experience with POS systems, and ability to handle cash transactions are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in hospitality settings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Experience handling cash and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down banquet bars according to event requirements.
• Prepare and serve beverages per recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service and engage with guests.
• Track beverage usage and handle payments for hosted or cash bars.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and service areas.
• Assist with inventory, glassware, and opening/closing duties.
