Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in Albuquerque is seeking a Banquet Bartender to deliver superior beverage service for banquets, meetings, and events. You will work with banquet teams to set up stations, serve beverages per recipes, and ensure responsible service and compliance with New Mexico laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current NM Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced banquet environments.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive beverage service at banquets and events.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock banquet bar stations per event needs and BEOs.
• Maintain clean, organized bar areas during events.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
• Verify guest IDs and comply with NM alcohol laws.
• Communicate with banquet teams and kitchen to ensure seamless events.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional beverage service in banquet and event settings.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up, stock, maintain, and break down banquet bar stations based on event needs and BEOs.
• Ensure bar areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout events.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all New Mexico alcohol service laws.
• Communicate effectively with banquet teams, kitchen staff, and leadership to ensure seamless event execution.
• Process guest orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company service, safety, and sanitation standards.
