Job summary

Sandia Golf Club in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Banquet Bar Manager to join Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality. This on-site role offers $10.00 per hour plus tips and gratuities, with a fast-paced environment and opportunities to learn and grow within a premier events team.

You will oversee banquet service, ensure room setup per Banquet Event Order, maintain cleanliness, support inventory, and deliver guest-focused service while following safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months banquet service experience or equivalent.
• Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• ServSafe certification preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepares function site and ensures meeting room is set according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests according to established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas as per Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Maintains a clean banquet or catering kitchen, coolers, and equipment.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures guests receive excellent customer service by anticipating needs.
• Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Banquet Bar Manager

• Prepares function site and assures meeting room is set according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas as according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Helps to maintain a clean banquet or catering kitchen, coolers, and equipment.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Banquet Bar Manager

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of banquet setting and service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
