Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly on-call Banquet Server for events at the Tysons Corner Westin in Falls Church, VA. You will assist with setup and breakdown of the banquet space and serve food and beverages following the hotel's quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Banquet Captain, greeting guests, replenishing beverages, clearing and resetting rooms, and upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep and service standards.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and instructions.
• Ability to read product labeling instructions for safety.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment like coffee makers.

Responsibilities

• Gather supplies and set up banquet room as described in the BEO and by Banquet Captain.
• Attend stand-up meetings to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverages as directed to ensure consistency.
• Bus dishes and reset banquet rooms after service.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and health standards.
