Location: New York, NY

A leading global law firm is seeking a 4th–9th year Associate to join its market-leading Restructuring practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex Chapter 11 proceedings, cross-border restructurings and high-profile bankruptcy matters within one of the most highly regarded restructuring teams in the market.

The team is consistently recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 and regularly advises debtors, creditors, committees, lenders and other stakeholders on sophisticated domestic and international restructuring matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on complex restructuring and bankruptcy matters
• Support Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
• Draft briefs, motions and substantive legal filings
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage sophisticated restructuring and litigation matters
• Work closely with clients across a range of industries and jurisdictions
• Collaborate with cross-border and cross-office teams on high-profile matters

Who You Are

• 4th–9th year associate
• Experience in restructuring, bankruptcy and related litigation matters
• Strong drafting, case management and deposition experience
• Experience at a major law firm preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Highly motivated and collaborative
• Admitted to the relevant State Bar

Compensation

Salary Range: $310,000 – $435,000 (DOE)
