LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit an experienced bankruptcy paralegal. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with experience supporting bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditors rights matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys on complex bankruptcy proceedings while managing court filings, case deadlines, financial documentation, and ongoing case administration.

Competenze

• Experience supporting bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditors rights matters.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, court rules and filing requirements.
• Familiar with PACER and electronic court filing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

• Provide paralegal support to attorneys handling bankruptcy and related matters.
• Prepare petitions, schedules, statements, proofs of claim, motions, notices, and other bankruptcy related documents.
• Assist with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 proceedings as applicable.

This full time opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with experience supporting bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditors rights matters. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys on complex bankruptcy proceedings while managing court filings, case deadlines, financial documentation, and ongoing case administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support to attorneys handling bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, and creditors rights matters
• Prepare petitions, schedules, statements, proofs of claim, motions, notices, and other bankruptcy related documents
• Assist with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings as applicable
• Monitor court dockets and maintain calendars for hearings, filing deadlines, response dates, and other critical case events
• Prepare and submit electronic filings with bankruptcy courts and other applicable courts
• Conduct case research and retrieve court records using PACER and related legal research systems
• Review financial statements, loan documents, contracts, claims, and other records relevant to bankruptcy matters
• Assist attorneys with creditor claims, claim objections, preference matters, asset recovery, and other bankruptcy proceedings
• Organize and maintain electronic case files and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with clients, trustees, creditors, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in bankruptcy matters
• Assist with discovery, document production, hearing preparation, and litigation support when necessary
• Prepare exhibits, case summaries, hearing materials, and other attorney work product

Qualifications

• Previous bankruptcy paralegal experience within a law firm or legal environment
• Knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
• Experience with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13, creditors rights, insolvency, or restructuring matters preferred
• Familiarity with PACER and electronic court filing systems
• Strong understanding of legal document preparation and case management procedures
• Ability to review and organize detailed financial and legal documentation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and time sensitive deadlines simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal document management systems, and case management technology
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other legal professionals
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential legal and financial information

Benefits:

Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
