Saint Cyr Partners seeks an Associate Attorney in Seattle for its esteemed Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group. The role involves handling complex restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters for lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors, with exposure to both litigation and transactional work.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active Washington bar admission, and 4–8 years of experience in bankruptcy-related matters, including Chapter 11/15/9.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligibility to waive into Washington); admission in Oregon and/or California is a plus.
• 4-8 years of substantive experience representing parties in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency-related matters.
• Experience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigation.
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise: debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11, 15, 9 municipal insolvency cases.
• Litigation Experience: drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.

Aufgaben

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency-related matters.
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation, including loan enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosure proceedings.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements, restructuring documents, pleadings, motions, and related filings.
• Advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy, and risk management strategies.
• Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation, including Chapter 15, 11, and 9 proceedings.
