Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a detail-oriented specialist to manage ledgers through the bankruptcy process for residential mortgage loans. You will verify payment history, balance ledgers, respond to attorneys, and ensure filings meet regulatory and investor timelines.

The role requires strong math, efficient multitasking, and solid communication. Training and process improvements are available within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills and ability to perform manual calculations for complex figures.
• Experience balancing ledgers and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes ledgers for bankruptcy processes with high accuracy across multiple filings.
• Verifies borrower payment history and resolves posting discrepancies.
• Responds to inquiries from bankruptcy attorneys and other parties.
• Researches and remediates files using servicer data and system records.
• Gathers and uploads documents required for bankruptcy filings.
• Audits and coordinates corrections in filings such as Proofs of Claim and Notices.
• Identifies process gaps and recommends improvements for BK workflows.
• May sign bankruptcy documents and provide department training as needed.
