Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Basic working knowledge of bankruptcy laws is needed.
• Must work well under stress and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confidentiality and dependability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Code Bankruptcy accounts with appropriate warnings.
• Ensure correct credit reporting to bureaus per regulations.
• Audit bankruptcy documents (Motion for Relief, Orders, Proofs of Claims, Cram Downs, Notices).
• Process trustee checks for bankrupt accounts.
• Recommend bankruptcy accounts to Collections for charge off.
• Respond to credit disputes related to Bankruptcy.
• Analyze debt and case to determine needed actions.
• Maintain accounts after discharge from Bankruptcy.
