Job summary

Talent Clout is seeking a detail-driven paralegal to support attorneys in consumer bankruptcy cases, focusing on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters in Florida. You will handle filings, organize case files, coordinate with clients, and ensure deadlines and court submissions are accurate.

You will work closely with attorneys to prepare petitions, schedules, and related documents, conduct legal research, manage Best Case data, and navigate Florida Courts E-Filing Portal with professionalism and

Qualifications

Paralegal certificate or equivalent training.
FRP designation is a plus and Florida credentials are advantageous.
Experience in consumer bankruptcy is preferred.
Strong research and analysis skills with knowledge of statutes and court procedures.
Proficiency with electronic filing systems including the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple files with high accuracy and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on consumer bankruptcy issues.
Organize, maintain, and update case files with accurate records.
Interview clients to gather financial and personal information for petitions.
Draft routine documents for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings.
Manage electronic filing of pleadings through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal.
Track deadlines, hearings, and court dates with timely coordination.
Input and manage case data in Best Case Software.
Communicate with clients, trustees, and court personnel.
