Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in New York City seeks an experienced Business Analyst fluent in English and Japanese to drive Core Banking, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking initiatives.

You will translate business needs into technical requirements and coordinate cross-regional programs with stakeholders in the US, Europe, and Tokyo Head Office. The role requires strong banking domain knowledge, agile delivery experience, and hands-on data analysis with SQL.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management within Banking or Financial Services.
• 7+ years with Core Banking, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or Payments platforms.
• 5+ years in requirements gathering, functional analysis, system integration, and cross-functional project delivery.
• 3+ years experience with SQL, data analysis, APIs, interfaces, and upstream/downstream system integration.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Japanese required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Core Banking and Transaction Banking initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility analysis for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Analyze impacts of system changes, upgrades, and integrations across upstream and downstream applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate in English and Japanese with stakeholders across the US/Europe and Tokyo Head Office to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
