Job summary

Bank of Hope is seeking an IT Lead Technical Analyst for Development Support to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. This role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving clear requirements and successful delivery across cross-functional groups.

You will lead requirements sessions, create BRDs, user stories and functional specs, collaborate with architects, developers and QA, and oversee testing lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-documenting skills + Excellent communication.
• Ability to work with people at all levels in an organization, developers, PMs, Architects, Vendors and with Clients.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Office suite.
• Understanding of technical architecture and system integrations.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of CRM and SharePoint is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and use cases.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams for solution delivery.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and platform capabilities.
• Create, review, and validate BRDs, user stories, and functional requirements documents.
• Support project planning, prioritization, and backlog management.
• Drive process improvements and establish BA standards and governance.
• Assist in UAT planning and ensure requirements traceability.
• Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for input into application activities.
• Interact with SMEs, application development, implementation support and production staff to define functional specifications meeting user requirements.
• End to end ownership on all testing related lifecycle activities.
• Prepare training guide presentation, user guide manual as needed.
